About the Forestry Studies (Metsanduslikud Uurimused) Forestry Studies (Metsanduslikud Uurimused) (founded 1939) is peer-reviewed journal managed by the Institute of Forestry and Rural Engineering, Estonian University of Life Sciences. The journal publishes research papers on all aspects of forestry (silviculture, forest products, forest operation and techniques, etc.), also on close subjects (environmental protection, ecology, botany, zoology, etc.). Forestry Studies also accepts the methodological aspects of the research. Papers are published in English or Estonian with English summary.
