Dendroloogilised uurimused Eestis on EPMÜ Metsandusliku Uurimisinstituudi 1999. aastal asutatud iga-aastane väljaanne. Selle eesmärgiks on tutvustada dendroloogilise uurimistöö arengut ja olukorda ning edasi viia ja mitmekesistada Eestis ning teisteski riikides tehtavate dendroloogiliste uurimistööde avaldamist. Publikatsioon püüab koondada võimalikult laialdaselt autoreid ja dendroloogiaga seotud valdkondi, oodatud on kirjutised kõigilt puittaimede kultiveerimisega seotud teemadelt. Senised publikatsioonid on ilmunud aastail 1999 ja 2000.

Käsikirjade esitamise tähtaeg on iga aasta 1. juuni, publikatsioon ilmub oktoobris/novembris. Käsikirja pikkus võib olla kuni 15 lk. ning see võib olla kirjutatud eesti või inglise keeles. Eestikeelsele artiklile on vajalik lisada ingliskeelne kokkuvõte ning ingliskeelsele artiklile eestikeelne kokkuvõte (1-2 lk.). Käsikirjad palume saata aadressil: heldur@peak.edu.ee ning need võiksid olla vormistatud Word’is, kokkuleppel toimetaja H. Sanderiga ka muus versioonis.

Publikatsioonid maksavad Eestis 50 krooni, koos saatekuludega 75 krooni. Neid on võimalik tellida aadressil: ptrei@eau.ee

Dendrological Researches in Estonia is an annual publication of the Forest Research Institute of the Estonian Agricultural University launched in 1999. Its objective is to introduce to the reader the development of and situation in dendrological studies and to promote and diversify the publication of dendrological researches in Estonia and abroad. The publication pursues a broad-based concentration of authors and fields related to dendrology, awaiting writings on any topic dealing with the cultivation of woody plants.

The deadline for the submission of manuscripts is June 1 each year, and the periodical is issued in October/November. Manuscripts may be up to 15 pages in length, and they have to be written in Estonian or in English. An article in Estonian needs to be supplemented with a 1-2 page summary in English, and an article in English needs to be equipped with a 1-2 page summary, which will be translated into Estonian. An article dealing with a wider range of topics may also be published entirely in Estonian. Manuscripts should be submitted in an MS Word format, or, in coordination with Editor H. Sander, in another format, at the following e-mail address: heldur@peak.edu.ee.

The publications cost $7 apiece without postage or $10 including postage. Orders may be placed at the following address: ptrei@eau.ee.

EESTI DENDROFLOORA UURINGUD

    Bibliograafia

Dendroloogilise sarja alguseks võib pidada 1996. aastat, kui Tallinna Botaanikaaias avaldati Virumaa võõramaiste puittaimede kommenteeritud nimestik (autorid Jüri Elliku ja Heldur Sander). 1997. aastal alustati Eesti dendrofloora uuringute sariväljaannet. Sarja eesmärgiks on olnud publitseerida Eesti olulisemate puittaimede kollektsioonide ning parkide ja linnahaljastute ülevaated koos kodu- ja võõramaiste puittaimede algandmete avaldamisega nimestike näol.

Sarja kaks esimest numbrit avaldati Eesti Keskkonnaministeeriumi toetusel. Alates 1998. aastast annab sarja välja EPMÜ Metsanduslik Uurimisinstituut. Trükikulusid on aidanud tasuda ka mitmed teised asutused.

Sarja toimetaja on H. Sander http://www.zbi.ee/~heldur/.  Aastail 1996-2000 on ilmunud kuus väljaannet.

RESEARCHES OF WOODY PLANTS OF ESTONIA

The beginnings of the dendrological series may be traced back to 1996, when a commented list of foreign woody plants in Viru County, authored by Jüri Elliku and Heldur Sander, was published at the Tallinn Botanical Garden. In 1997, a series of publications on dendroflora researches in Estonia was launched. The objective of the series has been to publish overviews of the most important woody plant collections as well as parks and urban greeneries in Estonia, along with the source data on native and foreign woody plants in the form of lists.

The publication of the first two issues of the series was financed by the Ministry of Environment of Estonia. Beginning from 1998, the series has been published by the Forest Research Institute of the Estonian Agricultural University. A number of other institutions have also lent a hand in covering the printing expenses.
