Journal Club of Life Sciences

Journal Club

The Journal Club of Life Sciences (JCLS) is a forum for scientists of different backgrounds to meet and discuss publications, other than your own, relevant to life sciences.

The presenting person will have an opportunity to mediate a recent topic of personal interest to fellow scientists. It is also a chance of practicing presenting in English and get feedback in a friendly atmosphere.

Listeners will have an article served, possibly outside their normal field of expertise. It may be a chance for you to exercise your scientific knowledge and you have the opportunity to discuss the article during the question session. You may even get new ideas for your own work or study topics.

Where and When

Normally the Journal Club of Life Sciences meet at Kreutzwaldi 62, Tartu at Thursdays 13:00 (for specific presentations and locations see presentation schedule).

I want to present!

Please contact Brian Lassen (brian.lassengmail.com) if you wish to present in the journal club.

We also would like to recommend The Journal Club of Ecology
